Band 6 Therapist in Hand Therapy (or consider B5-6 Accelerator)

37.5 hours Full Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Therapist who has a passion for hand therapy, to work in this dedicated team.

The successful post holder will work closely with the surgeons, in a well- established generic hand therapy service.

The successful applicant will be required to have good clinical skills together with an ability to be part of a team that is responsive to the demands of the Trust and the patients.

Knowledge and experience of splint making is an essential skill for B6 application but we would consider further training in this area for B5-6 accelerator post.

A B5-6 accelerator post would involve the successful completion competencies before progression to a B6 role.

There are opportunities to assist in audits/service development. You will also be expected to participate in teaching/in-service training to the hand therapy team including rotational staff.

There is good support and encouragement for CPD and peer support through a thriving regional hand therapy network.

A minimum of 2 years Band 5 experience would be essential for this post.
