Consultant Radiologist-General with a Specialist Interest

This is an ideal opportunity to develop or continue your radiological career in an excellent hospital environment. We are recruiting to a full time or part time general radiologist post. The post is advertised at consultant level but the vacancy could also be a staff grade development opportunity. The Diagnostic  Imaging Department at Dorset County Hospital is a cohesive, friendly and forward looking department. We pride ourselves on a supportive environment for all Diagnostic Imaging staff. We provide CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, symptomatic breast services and plain film services The post holder will join a group of 12 substantive consultant radiologists Dorset County Hospital received a CHKS Top Hospital Award 2017 and is nationally recognised for research and audit activity. Our busy, modern hospital provides a full range of district general services and links with satellite units in five community hospitals. It is a designated trauma unit and part of the Wessex Trauma network Dorset is a delightful place to live and work with the choice of coast or country for leisure activities. Dorset County Hospital is in the county town of Dorchester which has good rail links to Southampton and London and highly rated schools.
